Le Moné is made in the Finger Lakes region of New York at a family-owned winery overlooking Keuka Lake. The picturesque winery also has an organic farm on the property that provides fresh, organic produce to the area. We’ve had a strong relationship with the winery for years, so they were a natural fit when we set out to create Le Moné.
Farm wine is a special designation from New York state for wines that are made predominantly with New York ingredients - a seal of approval for those who support local agriculture, rather than buy cheap bulk grapes. Yes, we do use some ingredients that come from other places — New York lemons and agave wouldn’t be great would they? — but we proudly support local growers from our home state.
Le Moné has a special designation as an Aperitif Wine — a fortified wine with botanicals. Aperitif’s are a traditional low alcohol spirit steeped in European tradition, often served before a meal. Our aperitif is a wholly unique and contemporary take on the traditional Aperitif that takes it beyond the first glass of the night — the aperitif for always.
“So refreshing” “This captures the true essence of fresh squeezed lemons” “There lemonade and then there’s Le Moné” “What’s the best lemonade you’ve ever had? This is it.” - a group of really amazing, smart people with fantastic palates. Le Moné is carefully balanced to bring bright, vibrant acidity, the Meyer lemon's perfume-y aromatics, and agave together in perfect harmony.
In general, lemons are often regarded as good for you because of the high concentration of vitamin C, and they contain natural electrolytes, antioxidants, and are naturally refreshing. While we use real lemon, we make no health claims about Le Moné.
Meyer Lemons are hybrids of a mandarin orange and lemon. They look distinct from the lemons we’re used to seeing, with a rounder appearance and deeper yellow-orange peel. Meyer lemons are sweeter and less acidic than your typical lemon, and known for their perfume-y fragrance. We think they’re the perfect lemon for a refreshing summer drink.
Le Moné uses agave as a sweetener. Agave is sweeter than sugar, which allows us to use considerably less, keeping the calories and sugar low, while achieving the perfect balance between sweet and tart lemon acidity. Le Moné is made from fortified wine — not agave or tequila.
If you’re new to Le Moné, we recommend giving it a try simply over ice. It also goes great with a splash of soda or sparkling wine, or with an ounce added of your favorite spirit — our favorite is tequila. Lemon margarita anyone?
Prior to opening keep Le Moné out of extreme temperatures - hot or cold. Once opened, don't be afraid to show it off on your bar, but refrigeration will keep it freshest if you plan to enjoy it over several weeks rather than days..
Le Moné contains 29.5 calories per oz. Our recommended serving size for most Le Moné cocktails is a 2.5-3oz pour, resulting in a 80-96 calorie beverage that’s offers complexity without being over indulgent.
We’re working on bringing you more amazing variations of our Meyer Lemon aperitif. We have some exciting seasonal flavors on the horizon, as well as some more limited exclusive releases for our members. Le Moné currently comes in four unique flavors that build on the signature Meyer lemon and agave profile.

A standard bottle of Le Moné is 750ml, which equates to just over eight (8) 3oz servings per bottle or ten (10) 2.5oz servings. Dealer's choice.
A serving of Le Moné can vary based on how you choose to drink it. If you’re drinking it neat, we recommend a standard cocktail serving of 2.5-3oz, but check out our recipes for more serving suggestions.
The Le Moné bottle is made from 100% recycled Italian glass, and the label is made from post-consumer recycled cotton — we want you to keep the cycle going. Please recycle or upcycle your bottles!
Le Moné is 100% vegan, with no animal products used at any point during the production. This is an important value for members of our team, including one of our co-founders who is a vegan and has a farm at home full of rescue animals.
Le Moné is naturally gluten free.
Le Moné is made through a careful process of infusion and blending of our ingredients. It’s truly a farm-to-glass product, with locally grown grapes produced on site at our partner winery.
Our team comes from a diverse background in the beverage industry, from manufacturing and innovation, to restaurants and retail. One of the biggest things we wanted to overcome as a manufacturer was being three steps removed from our customers — by the time our product reaches you, the story and artistry becomes convoluted or is completely lost, as does our control over how the products are stored and served. We also never get to hear directly from you, missing out on the most rewarding part of the process for us (and also missing out on valuable feedback from you). When we conceived of Le Moné we had a goal of creating a beverage that could be delivered directly to your home, creating a personal relationship with each customer, like a Sommelier does at your table.
Being in New York City means we really embrace its happy hour culture. Over time, we realized that as much as we loved the lifestyle, every social event required not just planning for that night, but also the following morning. Were we going to sacrifice another morning workout for this night on the town? We all developed tricks of the trade — a special sleight of hand to maintain the balancing act, but we knew there had to be a better way to enjoy our time with friends and colleagues over cocktails without resorting to stiflingly singular seltzers and ‘lite’ alternatives. Enter Le Moné, a full-flavored and complex yet low calorie, refreshing alcohol with less alcohol than the alternatives, so you can go at your own pace for great nights and good mornings.
